Poole Swimming Club Membership Categories
The club supports a wide range of levels of swimming activity at both junior and masters levels with charges to match. The fees consist of an annual membership charge, an ASA registration charge (set by the ASA) and a quarterly swimming fee. The junior categories fall into two basic groups; Star groups that are essentially for tuition, and competitive groups for those who have mastered the basics and wish to take part in ASA events. These are as follows for 2006, with all charges in pounds sterling:

The 6-Star group contains Bronze and Silver sub-categories to allow for swimmers of differing abilities and choice of swimming time. Star groups normally swim once per week unless otherwise indicated, whilst Pre-Junior swim twice, Junior 3 times, and Intermediate and Squad potentially much more often. Where a family has several junior members, only one pays the full rate, whilst the others receive a discount. Special arrangements can be made for students who are unable to swim during term time by using tickets.
If you wish to pay swimming fees by standing order this should be the quarterly fee, discounted by the appropriate amount as above divided by 3. The membership and ASA registration are paid annually as a separate transaction.
The ASA fees were incorrectly itemised on the fees envelopes and arrangements have been made to correct the extra monies by cash. We apologise for this error.
Masters
Masters swimmers have a wide range of sessions to choose from, and pay according to the number of sessions per week as above. See Masters page for more information and application forms.
