To join the Masters use the application form on the left which will be mailed to the Treasurer. Please feel free to come along to any Masters session for a free trial swim to see if it suits you. Just introduce yourself to the session coach when you arrive.

 It saves everyone a lot of work if you pay swimming fees by standing order, a form is available to download, sign and post    here.

Please note that if you swim 4 or more times a week then there is a new swim fee payable. Please remember to amend your Standing orders.

Masters

The Masters section is for swimmers over the age of 18, there is no upper age limit. We also have some young adults who want to train without getting involved with the "Open" age group swimming scene.

If you have been a competitive swimmer in your youth this could be for you. A number of sessions are available, including early mornings. A schedule is set for each session and a qualified teacher on the poolside to offer help and advice if required. The club organises annually, a Masters Club Championship and an inter-club gala. Adult Learners

If you would like to take up swimming now that your children enjoy the sport so much we can help too.

We have an ADULT KEEP FIT AND LEARNERS hour, once a week. It is great fun and not during public swimming time.

ASA Masters Newsletter

Masters National Decathlon competition.

You can select from ten different events with some mandatory ones. Your best 10 will count. You will need to complete an event entry form to be sent to Robert Margetts, this will cost £3 to enter.  When you have completed your ten events ( an event is 50 breast for example, not a complete gala) you send off the record form with your times. The trophy will be awarded at the WCASA Distance Masters Champs.  One limitation is that the event must be swum at a gala with ELECTRONIC TIMING.
